Eczema runs in my family. I needed a year off work when it got so severe. Not surprisingly, all our kids have had it, our youngest son particularly badly. He scratched, cried, and bled, waking up several times a night for years. Long clothes and baths were pure torture. We respectfully followed the usual conventional route of family doctor, pediatrician, dermatologist, and allergist.
